Terms of Service for TwoHomes

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TwoHomes mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TwoHomes is a co-parenting management application that provides:

• Custody schedule tracking and management
• Expense tracking and splitting
• Payment schedule management
• Shared calendar for events and appointments
• Swap request system for schedule changes
• Activity tracking and reporting
• Secure messaging and notes

3. Eligibility

To use TwoHomes, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

4. Account Registration

Creating an Account

• You must create an account to use the App
• You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

Subscription Required

TwoHomes requires an active subscription for full access to features. Each user (co-parent) must have their own subscription.

Pricing

• Annual Subscription: $49.99 USD per year, per user
• Free Trial: 30 days (first-time subscribers only)
• Prices may vary by country and are subject to change

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed annually through Apple's App Store
• Payment is charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions in your iTunes Account Settings

Free Trial

• New users receive a 30-day free trial
• You will not be charged during the trial period
• Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges

Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through iTunes Account Settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial periods

6. User Conduct

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App to harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate any person
• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

7. User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including notes, messages, expense descriptions, calendar events, and receipt photos.

License to Us

By uploading content to the App, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content to provide the service. This license is non-exclusive, worldwide, and royalty-free.

Shared Content

When you link with a co-parent, certain content is automatically shared between you. Both parents can view shared content (schedules, expenses, events).

8. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by TwoHomes and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Privacy and Data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TWOHOMES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

12. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@twohomes.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse other users.

By using TwoHomes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
